Dick Lovett Group is a prestigious UK automotive dealer network representing brands such as Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, and Aston Martin.


With over 14 dealership locations and hundreds of employees, their operations depended heavily on seamless communication, secure infrastructure, and immersive customer-facing technology. Altiatech partnered with Dick Lovett to deliver a comprehensive IT transformation programme across connectivity, cloud services, AV, and security.


The Challenge

With evolving customer expectations, manufacturer-driven standards, and increasing cybersecurity risks, Dick Lovett required a modernised IT platform that could support in-store technology, protect sensitive systems, and scale with dealership growth.
Legacy telephony and network infrastructure were hindering collaboration, whilst siloed AV setups and decentralised software management led to inefficiencies and inconsistent user experience.


Our Approach

Altiatech developed a phased transformation programme focused on stabilisation, standardisation, and innovation. Solutions were rolled out across multiple dealerships, including BMW, Porsche, Farmhouse, and Ferrari retail locations.

  • Calls & Connectivity: Migrated and managed Excell business phone systems across dealerships, including monthly line rental and voice call plans.
  • Microsoft CSP & Licensing: Managed and optimised Microsoft Cloud Services, including monthly CSP billing, M365 licensing, and Defender integration.
  • Security & Endpoint Protection: Deployed BitDefender (800+ endpoints) and GravityZone rollout to bolster threat prevention and endpoint management.
  • Backup & Infrastructure: Implemented UPS systems at Farmhouse and Cardiff sites for resilience; completed Veeam renewals and server memory upgrades.
  • AV & Customer Experience: Designed and deployed interactive AV solutions including C-Touch Wall Units, Samsung/Apple TVs, AV furniture, and showroom-ready AV setups for Porsche, Ferrari and BMW locations.
  • Farmhouse Innovation Hub: Built a bespoke, immersive customer experience suite including meeting technology, AV integration, modern furniture, and secure network access.
  • Software Licensing: Transferred and renewed Adobe Creative Cloud and Office 365 licences under Altiatech-managed billing.


The Results

The transformation delivered standardised cloud licensing with improved IT spend visibility, a centralised voice and connectivity platform across all dealerships, enhanced customer environments through interactive showroom AV technology, and a strengthened endpoint security posture protecting over 800 endpoints throughout the business.
