Bank of England - Cloud adoption and modernisation
Vendor-agnostic cloud operating model, with strategic SaaS integrated into the wider cloud roadmap
The Bank of England set out to modernise IT infrastructure and adopt cloud services to improve operational efficiency. Working alongside Appvia, Altiatech helped integrate key SaaS platforms into the broader cloud operating model — including a migration roadmap for CRM services into Microsoft Dynamics 365, plus Exchange and SharePoint Online. The work also strengthened identity and access management through Azure Active Directory and single sign-on, supporting better collaboration, agility, and reduced infrastructure overhead.
City, University of London — Unified communications modernisation
Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing, integrated with the existing Mitel phone system — enabling a secure, flexible communications platform.
City wanted to replace an underutilised Skype for Business setup while protecting its investment in Mitel telephony. Altiatech delivered a hybrid approach, integrating Microsoft Teams with the existing phone system via Direct Routing, so staff could make and receive calls securely from any device and location. The result was a future-proofed communications platform that supported flexible working and helped the university respond quickly during remote-working periods.
Premium Credit — Accelerated digital transformation
Dynamics 365, Windows 10 and Surface rollout, plus cloud and security improvements to enable new ways of working.
Premium Credit engaged Altiatech to support its next phase of technology change, starting in 2017. Altiatech helped shape a strategic plan around a flexible working model and delivered improvements including Dynamics 365, Windows 10 and Surface devices. The programme supported a more integrated broker/customer experience and improved efficiency, alongside cloud progression (including Azure hosting for a third data centre) and strengthened security for the organisation.
